9 Foods To Grill That You Never Have But Totally Should
The grill may be the last place you’d expect to see an avocado—but it’s a tasty game changer! Go beyond basic steaks, burgers, and hot dogs with unexpected options for your next backyard cookout.
1. Pizza
If you think it’s great in the oven wait till you try it on the grill! Brush both sides of dough with olive oil and grill over direct heat for one to two minutes or until the dough starts to get firm. Remove from heat and place grilled side down on a baking sheet. Add toppings, return to grill, and cook pizza until dough is crispy and cheese is melted.
2. Tacos
Make store-bought tortillas taste homemade by warming on the grill for one to two minutes. Fill with your family’s favorites and serve.
3. Cornbread
Grill a favorite skillet cornbread recipe over low heat, covered, for 12 to 14 minutes right alongside your main dish. Great way to avoid heating the kitchen on a hot day!
