Hot Chai Tea Recipe
Brew a delicious homemade Chai Tea Latte in minutes!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of water
- 3 whole cloves
- One 3 inch cinnamon stick
- 3 whole black peppercorns
- 1 pinch of ground nutmeg
- 4 teaspoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons black tea leaves
- Orange peel
Cookware:
- Saucepan
- Strainer (optional)
Directions:
Step 1
Combine milk and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Once the mixture is warm, place the orange peel, cloves, cinnamon stick, peppercorns, nutmeg, sugar and tea leaves into the pan.
Step 3
Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and allow it to simmer until the color deepens to your liking.
Step 4
Strain out the spices and pour into your Dixie® To Go cup.
